House Donation Group

A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Our Mission

Helping children have safe housing with their families, is the key to a better tomorrow for us all. House Donation Group's #1 goal, is to provide stable housing for kids. With a roof over their heads, young people can be on their way to achieving great things.

Charitable Programs

We support two charitable programs in the Puget sound area: Mary's Place and Vision House. The funds we send them, allow their teams to provide housing for single moms with children, young couples with kids, and others with housing challenges.

We encourage you to learn more about them and support the good work they are doing.

Here are the non-profit groups that we help fund.

Mary's Place Seattle

Mary's Place

“No one’s child should sleep outside”. Across five emergency family shelters in King County, we keep families together, inside, and safe when they have no place else to go, providing resources, housing and employment services, community, and hope.

Each day, our housing team works with families to address barriers and empower parents to build family stability, secure housing, and prepare for employment. Kids are connected with schools, participate in fun and enriching activities, and go on outings and adventures in Kids Club. In the evening, families in shelter eat dinner, do homework, spend time together, and prepare for the week ahead.

Our families include two-parent families (pregnant or with children), single parents of all genders (pregnant or with children), extended families, and families with pets! Children with life-threatening illnesses should not be living in cars and tents awaiting chemo or dialysis. Families who have lost everything in the struggle to get their child well have a place to receive care and support in shelter in Mary's Place Popsicle Place program. Still, capacity is limited and hundreds of families are outside each night in cars and tents.

Vision House - until every child has a home

Vision House

A temporary housing agency that shelters moms and their kids. Founded in 1990 in Renton, WA, Vision House was born out of a God-given conviction in the hearts of John and Susan Camerer to reach and support single moms with kids at risk of ending up on the streets. Vision House has been providing transitional housing with supportive services for over 30 years to help families experiencing homelessness move from crisis, to stability and self-sufficiency. The ministry has grown from initially serving two single mothers and their kids to now serving over 500 families a year, supporting single mothers, single fathers and two-parent families. Our program is infused with the commitment and passion to see lives changed and the cycle of homelessness broken for the next generation.
